App Store access
NEC Prep is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple's terms, App Store rules, device compatibility, platform availability, and account requirements also apply. Features, content, availability, and pricing may change over time.
Free access
The free path includes Lessons 1–3, the Daily Pull, Code Navigation practice, and five focused-practice questions per calendar day. Available free features may be revised as the product changes.
Auto-renewable subscriptions
NEC Prep offers a Monthly Pass and a 6-Month Exam Pass through Apple's in-app purchase system. Both plans unlock Lessons 4–15, every focused-practice route, unlimited practice questions, and unlimited repeat rounds during an active subscription term.
The price, billing period, localized currency, and availability Apple presents in the app before confirmation control your purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when confirmed. A subscription renews automatically for the selected period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Refund eligibility and payment disputes are handled under Apple's policies.
If a subscription expires, is canceled, refunded, or revoked, paid access ends when Apple reports that the entitlement is no longer active. Canceling does not remove access already paid for during the remaining active term.
Apple terms
Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to the NEC Prep iOS app unless Apple displays another applicable agreement at download or purchase.
Independence and trademarks
NEC Prep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the National Fire Protection Association, any licensing board, any exam provider, or any authority having jurisdiction.
NEC and National Electrical Code are registered trademarks of the National Fire Protection Association. Those names are used only to identify the subject matter studied.
No official exam questions
Unless clearly stated otherwise, NEC Prep practice questions are original study content. They are not official exam questions from NFPA, a licensing board, an exam provider, a municipality, a school, or another third party.
No guarantee
NEC Prep does not guarantee exam passage, licensure, employment, promotion, inspection approval, code compliance, income, or another outcome. Results depend on the user, exam provider, licensing board, jurisdiction, adopted code edition, study habits, and other factors outside our control.
User responsibility
Before relying on any study plan, confirm the required code edition, exam rules, allowed materials, passing score, and licensing requirements with the appropriate school, board, exam provider, employer, or jurisdiction.
Intellectual property
NEC Prep owns or licenses its site design, original copy, product names, artwork, lessons, practice content, explanations, and other materials, excluding third-party marks and references. These terms do not transfer ownership rights to you.
